  • Company Overview: Indoor Air of Virginia LC is committed to customer satisfaction in the installation, repair and service of home heating and air conditioning systems. Ray Dodson, owner of Indoor Air, has over 20 years of knowledge and experience in residential and commercial HVAC and carries a Master HVAC card. The foundation of Indoor Air of Virginia is built on integrity and honesty, and we will only perform work that is necessary to satisfy our customer needs. The only time we recommend replacing the unit, is when it is in the best interest of our customers. Our objective is to ensure homeowners are getting the most efficient system for their home. At Indoor Air of Virginia, we take the extra effort in performing a load calculation on all change outs and installs. Services we offer include: upgrading a heat pump, gas furnaces, mini split systems, hydronic systems, boilers, water heaters and service calls for routine maintenance and repair. We also design, repair and/or replace your home's duct systems. We sell and service all brands of heat pumps and heating and cooling equipment. In order to meet out customer demands, we are currently getting ready to kick off a new solar unit. This eliminates heat pump operation cost and provide solar power to operate other household appliances during off peak times.

The production and use of R22 , an ozone depleting substance, was phased out January 01, 2010. Although the transition is underway to a more ozone friendly refrigerant, many existing residential air conditioning systems use R22. As the supply of R22 winds down, consumers can expect a noticeable increase in cost when servicing their home system with this product. In anticipation of this phase out and increased cost to the consumer, Indoor Air of Virginia began selling 15 SEER or greater, R410A systems several years ago. This was to provide the consumer an energy saving, efficient alternative to the old R22 system. In addition, all of our units carry a 10 year parts and labor warranty .

The energy tax credit will expire December 31, 2010. Consumers who have a new energy efficient system installed in their home can receive a tax credit for 30% of the cost or up to $1,500.00. If you choose the new solar unit, there are additional incentives. This would be an ideal time for you to take advantage of the tax credit and enjoy the comfort and savings with a new high efficiency heating and air conditioning system in your home.

Indoor Air of Virginia provides quality and reliable installation, service and repair. We look forward to servicing residential and commercial clientele.
