A recent news story uncovered the alarming air conditions in local Indianapolis schools. As a result, a statewide law was passed requiring schools to conduct routine cleaning and implement changes in hundreds of schools. Classrooms were found to be filled with high levels of carbon dioxide, something which makes learning and teaching difficult, as it puts you to sleep. In light of the report, schools have been contacting Indianapolis, Indiana A/C and heating contractors for routine cleanings of cooling units. Air conditioning contractors in Indiana say unclean filters can lead to the growth of mold and the spread of allergens and bacteria throughout the air, in addition to making the cooling units much less efficient.
