This long-summer city is home to a number of popular libraries. However, in mid 2011 it was reported that one of them, The Erna Fergusson Library, would be closed for several months while undergoing renovations. One of the main problems in the library will be repaired by Albuquerque, New Mexico air conditioning contractors – the low-functioning cooling system. In addition, the overall size of the building will be increased to provide more storage room for books, more reading space for patrons and a larger area for computers. While winters are brief, the new units being installed by Albuquerque a/c and heating contractors will also provide heating for those few cold weeks.
