A local resident recently reported the theft of an air conditioning unit from his first floor apartment. The resident said he had called Seattle, Washington air conditioning contractors because no air was coming out of the vent, but when the A/C and heating contractors reached the Seattle home they discovered the unit was missing. Police were called but with no witnesses they currently have no suspects or leads. This is not the first time an air conditioner was stolen in the area, so law enforcement officials are urging the public to keep their eyes open for suspicious activity and to question individuals they see tampering with air conditioning units.
