AHR Expo
The AHR Expo is the world's largest HVAC show! Since 1930, it has had tens of thousands of attendees visit its exposition each year, and the 2010 show will have over 1,800 exhibitors from 30 countries. Anybody who is anybody in the HVAC industry will be there. From HVAC contractors and engineers to dealers, distributors, wholesalers, architects, builders, managers, agents and even consumers - they will be there! The 2010 AHR show will focus on environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products and technologies.
Environmentally friendly, or green, products are the newest and best products in the home improvement industry, including HVAC. These products are so great because of their energy-saving capabilities, and because that they are good for the environment. Beside numerous hands-on exhibits, the expo will feature educational sessions from leaders in environmentally friendly education. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and its Energy Star program will host an educational seminar and have an exhibiting booth. This is a great way for consumers to find out more information on the new tax credits that the government offers to homeowners who buy approved Energy Star products. Other groups leading seminars include the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning engineers), who will also be leading seminars on green topics.
Another exciting reason to attend this show is to see the unique demonstrations led by The Partnership for Environmental Leadership, which will be bringing its HVAC mobile green classroom to the expo. This trailer demonstrates new and innovative technologies for enhancing buildings' energy efficiency. This promises to be a very innovative and exciting exhibit and very worth your time. Another fun feature: The New Products Technology Theater, where you can hear brief presentations of new product innovations.
